Hooray for Mike...he has reserved the pavilion and cabins at Elliott Lake for the weekend of June 26-28! IMPORTANT....put JUNE 26-28 on your calendars now. More to come about the reunion soon on this blog.
At least a week and a half has passed since the Roberts family began planning for the reunion. Nita has turned over the planning to those of us who were there, plus those who want to input ideas and volunteer to do some work. I need e-mails for each of my siblings children, and friends and relatives to invite them to come to this web site. (My e-mail is inaberry@hotmail.com) We will be setting a date soon for RSVPs as we need a head count to determine "how many cabins" we need this year. This will also impact some the individual costs per person. Remember, this is a really outstanding vacation spot, and the family has an opportunity to enjoy it one more time, play, relax, perform and have fun. Get those e-mails to us please. Ina Jo
Thanks for bringing it up....of course the electrical outlets are in place, but this year, the trend will be BYOB, snacks and drinks for kids. Sorry folks..but times are hard. Plans are being made to provide breakfast and night meals at the pavilion. It was suggested lunches might also be up to each individual either to bring along and prepare in your own cabin, or purchase at store on site. Any questions or suggestions it is early in the planning, and we are open to discuss these issues. However, what we can do, depends on volunteers and how much money we can get money, so the number of people coming makes a difference, too. Glad your coming Speber...Bluecat Bardo surely will perform some songs, right? Maw Maw is expecting to be entertained by as many as will get up there.
